NIA searches Saokat Molla’s home and party office, son questioned in Bhangar blast case
Two young women were killed after being struck by a train while crossing railway tracks near Belwa crossing in the Rahimabad police station area of Lucknow. The accident took place outside Mankoti village when the two friends were crossing the tracks and a train suddenly approached, hitting them. Both died on the spot.
The deceased have been identified as Shashi, 20, daughter of Ashrafi Lal, and Neetu, 23, daughter of Buddha, both residents of Mankoti village. News of the incident drew a large crowd of villagers to the spot, while family members rushed to the scene and were left inconsolable.
Police said the exact cause of the accident is under investigation. While initial information suggests the two were crossing the tracks at the time, officials said other angles are also being examined.
